Really?

I recently had a conversation that lasted way too long and was not at an appropriate level of consciousness, but really cleared up some things. I want you to right now think of the group of people you hang out with the most. Think of the ones that if you lost contact with permanently today, it would kill you. Got it? Okay now think of the most fun you have ever had with any of these people...

Right now I'd be willing to bet big money that the size of the group you are thinking of is 8 or below. There is a reason sitcoms have 4, 5, and 6 main characters. Everyone is closer in small groups. This may be cynical but who really cares. In writing you cant have more than 8 characters to a novel, unless most of the book is spent developing the relationships. In life it's the same way, the less people the more interconnectivity.

Thank God for Good Directions

So today was all kinds of strange, but thank God for awesome people at wrk I think I had a panic attack. I have nothing to compare it too so Idk. I didn't hyperventilate or anything just suddenly had no control over where my mind was going or what I was on doing someone just switched on the auto pilot and My brain started running laps, I couldn't focus on anything it was terrible. But then Kia my favorite person at work came in and gave me a big hug like always and for a minute everything was back to normal.

that wasn't originally part of this post but I felt like I had to add it

Now the title is not only my favorite square dancing song but its also a prayer of thanksgiving. Every major  decision in life God has been there to show me the way.

But I've been flying a lot blinder than usual (twenty points if you can cite that reference) and really need some direction. I've got a few major decisions that I have to make fairly soon and I'm praying God points the way. But I thought hey I could get others to pray too!

I need to know, among other things, If I should study abroad, If I should get a motorcycle, If I should stay in OKC over the summer, etc

So If you need direction, comment below and I'll pray for yours if you pray for mine!

Trying to remain chill in the midst of Insanity

Monday-rains pours/2 while 1 (This is in not so subtle code)

Tuesday-computer broke, day one of my new talon job takes a significant amount of time but ended up being really fun.

Wednesday-Talon office from 8:00pm to 3:30am with a 9:30 class the next day (I hadn't done any homework) Also found out that the class I carefully planned ride home for was a week earlier than expected.

Thursday-Got picked up by my brother and went to half a bachelor party in order to get a ride home to L-town.

Friday-Very near fatal car wreck on the way to a motorcycle safety training class, Missed a football game that a very old friend from germany was in town for

Saturday-I am not good at very good at riding (I don't understand the clutch) I had to attend the wedding related to the bachelor party on Thursday (I didn't pack for this clothes did not fit), ran into another fairly old friend that I hadn't spoken to in several months.

Sunday-I apparently can ride, I passed the test only to find out my family was hoping that I wouldn't... Return to OC (with lots of homework still to do)

Monday-View 63 has a thoroughly enjoyable night beating out all of last year easily. Our suite-mates fake rob us to teach us to lock our doors.

Tuesday-Get my computer back with all my settings wiped, random dramatic things (more subtle code)

This has been my life recently lets see what tomorrow brings, also comment if you want me to blog about anything specific.

Animorphs

This was almost a blog about all the books I put on my short list but this series of books stood out as something that had to be explained, and deserved an entire blog.

I was reading on a 1st grade level before I was old enough to go to school. My older brother decided that I should learn to read as soon as I could talk. Because of this I pretty much skipped the young adult fiction stage. I never read the popular books during the time they were popular with my. friends. Yet this series I devoured. Even though I quickly outgrew them I read everything written up until two years ago!

Above was a list of all the subplots, but it started to get too long and sound retarded so ill explain them differently.

Five teenagers find themselves accidentally on the front lines of a very tilted battle for the whole of humanity. their enemy is a clandestine force that has infiltrated every level of government/society and every country the world over. The series has 54 books with a continuous storyline and 10 companion novels. By the end if the series these now adults have changed so much that they no longer have a place in the world they are saving. The end result was so dramatic and so drastically game changing that the author could not top it so she went insane NOT JOKING, and MORE PROOF.

My favorite Character

Rachel- How a powerful female character is supposed to be done. Not the main character but unashamedly the most Bad-A.

Favorite Event

They create a Ghost myth about a local island by imprisoning someone the tried to turn into a new partner.

The best part about these books is that they are literally two hour reads.  You could finish the series in a couple of weeks. That or the miniature flip book along the bottom of each book.

However the phrase you cant judge a book by its cover, is proved by these;

Disclaimer: these books are a sci-fiction about aliens and morphing technology. This includes space flight, time travel, ray guns, and the ocasional pacifistic android.

TV the Short list

Due to some discussion on the top five picks in TV I will start with the shows.

Firefly, first of all if you havent seen this its understandable there were only fourteen episodes filmed. Second of all every producer at fox needs to die because there were only fourteen of these filmed. DVD sales and movie tickets to the compilation movie that finished the series. made more money than it cost to film all of them. There are more fans of this show/movie than almost anything. This is because one episode or even just watching part of the movie gets everyone addicted the show is pure genius. No spoilers because I will not ruin it for you WATCH IT HERE!

Game of Thrones, As for HBO and such shows (the ones that can show skin and drop F-bombs) nothing compares to the fantasy period piece Game of Thrones. The show is a hardcore magic, dragon, elves (I think), incest, intrigue Fantasy. That takes the entire first season before you realize how strange it is. The character development and billions of subplots make every episode a mini-movie and the actors are so good you don't know who to root for.

Cougar Town, Ignore the name! because the creators do this show is friends, only in our time period and located in any-town USA. Plus the age range is made so that college freshmen through middle aged people have someone to connect with. The reoccurring jokes and powerful chemistry makes you believe that these people are best friends in real life and the show is just filmed without them knowing! If you havent watched Please Please do you will not be able to stop laughing. WATCH IT HERE!

Futurama, Another comedy and a cartoon? yes but this show may be the smartest on the list. Made by, and im not kidding, a mathematician, scientists, and then comedy writers. So yeah smart. For those of you that watch big bang theory for numor (nerd humor) thats kid stuff Futurama has made two separate languages on of which is a cipher. the include mathematical jokes that the people from xkcd would be hard pressed to get, and in a recent episode they published a brand new mathematical theorem. plus it is a perfect parody of the future, the ultimate picture of our failing reality, all in a comedy that will keep you rolling.

House/NCIS they are the same, yes one is a medical version of sherlock holmes and one is the cop version of friends but both are relationship focused dramas that do not ignore their genre.  The medical mysteries and disease ridden filler characters are there to push the story along but fans keep coming back for the relationships our favorite characters keep screwing up. Ziva and Tony? Cuddy & Greg? Gibbs Abbey THIRTEEN?

Can't argue with math
So There it is the top five TV shows Ever! In my not so humble opinion.

What should I cover next? comment below

Remember Your Mortality.

I have been absent for a few weeks. For some reason the extreme amount of time that I have no drive to write. It may be the absence of a hipster atmosphere that exists on a college campus or my general dislike of my life in lawton but whatever the reason im writing again.

I just gave myself a deadline by telling one of the few pople who i know will not stop bothering me until I meet it that I would send her a new draft of something.

Oh and the title well that would be the literal translation of the phrase Memento Mori. This phrase is the title of the story written by my new favorite writer Jonathan Nolan (es everyones favorite director has an equally talented brother). Though I am late at finding this story and the film that goes with it I believe it is a new muse along with my other favorite movies and books that have inspired me

So to close here is a list of Movies TV and Books that made me want to write

The Once and Future King
Peter Pan (2003 live action version)
Fahrenheit 451
THR3E
The Prestige
Stranger Than Fiction
FLASHFORWARD
Dead poet Society
Memento
Memento Mori

CAUTION: read and watch at your own risk, side effects include: obsessive story telling, inability to enjoy meaningless television (and most sports), desire to pursue liberal arts degree, constant disappointment from new books and movies, and the wish to ignore all human contact to finish a pointless story that means everything to you

New Ideas/I love the 90's

In recent years we have seen a few prominent children's cartoons and TV shows into full length blockbuster movies. I think it is high time we see some legit 90's cartoons make it to the silver screen. Here are my three Ideas.

We've seen giant fighting robots done well, so why not giant robots with teenagers inside fighting for the space colonies revolution. If you don't know what I am talking about then you apparently missed the greatest children's cartoon ever made (yeah I said it). This show had the one thing almost all cartoons now are missing and most at that time, STORY.

This movie could easily be a two part series split up the same way the cartoon series is when you buy it on dvd, still nothing?

Gundam Wing!

If you have seen Iron man or avatar you know mechanized suits can be made realistic and this story is already perfect for a movie WHY ARENT PEOPLE MAKING THIS??

No. 2
They did a G.I. Joe movie that totally tanked but it did show everyone that kids shows can become big screen movies believably this idea is a little more far fetched but let me explain the idea before I reveal the show.

Five young adults living in a large city in southern california have virtually no connection except for the fact that three of them attend the same college and they have all taken some martial arts training. Over a few days they connect and become a strange group of friends when the end up stumbling on some major corporate espionage and a possible government cover up. They meet a man who tells them that their lives are in danger and he can help he provides them with experimental nano suit technology that heightens their reflexes and makes them more powerful they go on to find out the technology is alien as is the woman in charge of the company that is now after them and their mysterious helper. One of the corporations soldiers comes to their side and gets his own special suit. they destroy the company and when they confront the woman she says someone more powerful then her is still on the way. (leading to another movie)

Ok sounds doable right? well now i'll tell you the deal breaker what if it's... Power Rangers. No don't laugh look at this

So you can totally make this believable you just don't play on the color thing get some great writers, make it a detective story and age everyone a little differently.

And last but not least I can already see this preview

A mom and two kids are packing a van. There is a fifteen-year-old boy and six-year-old girl playing with a doll (quick people will recognize this doll ). The mother is consoling her children about having to move saying “we will live next to your uncle and he has a boy your age” To her angry son shoving boxes into the trunk.
Then cut to the boy being attacked by some strange looking dog in tall grass where a random string of fire scares it away. He looks up at a much older man holding what looks like a red ball.
Then epic music starts playing as it cuts to the boy putting on the signature ball cap, the backpack, and picking up a poké-ball.
Toss in action shots of poké-battles and you wouldn't even have to hint at any story line just finish with an “I chose you!” or a shot of Mew.

Now don't lie you would watch at least one of these movies some would be there opening night all three.

Ok Characterization Map of the still unnamed lead in my epic
Wordle: Charactername
Looking at this tell me what name comes to mind,
Please....

"I" is teling the story

Titile is not a typo. I decided, after a conversation about third and first person novels, that It's possible to write in both styles in one book. So I am now writing a single chapter in first person it will be by the one character who's internal thoughts have not been revealed.

I can email you the finished product because it will be short and it is going to fit anywhere in the story as a suspense builder. If you like it I can probably add more than just one of these chapters give me some feedback on the idea.

comment if you want to receive the finished product, but keep in mind that there may be some spoilers.

Naming the Wind... Realizing Life

It's my last day on campus of my freshman year and as I sit in my last final waiting for the professor to learn how to use blackboard it finally all sinks in.

No more...(insert depressing list of everything we've all done together this year)
but so much more to come...

This year I have learned to be myself above all else. I stayed true to who I was when I could have changed. God took me through so much pain and a lot of good that although I don't know why I really needed. It's going according to plan, even if I have no idea what that is.

But this year also made me start writing and looking back I have discovered that people can be defined entirely be the things they cause. So Instead of characterizing the person whose name I need, i'll just tell you the things he caused.

First of all he caused everything, his very existence is the purpose of everything in the story.

He causes the main characters to stick together, when they are trying to leave.

His actions cause the main characters to survive multiple deadly events.

He creates the love intrest between characters

He is generally the unseen force behind all the main events and the trick for me is to make it seem like he isn't especially now that I have told all of you

Intentionally specific-less descriptions

I'm proud to announce that I have a name! not for the main two characters but its something...

I have decided it was quite moronic of me to ask for help on a project you know nothing about. So I am going to give you a setting and a brief description of the as yet unnamed project that is possessing me of late.

Setting=above in early 1600's
Ok, to get you in the right mindset of genre and story-telling-type, here are several pictures of stories you've read or watched. When smashed together these will give you some idea of the story I'm writing.

Hope that helps, Here is synopsis.

The story follows the outcome of two dying wishes that occur nowhere near each other in time or location. You follow the lives of five characters as they interact with, and change, the implications of granted wishes that they never heard (slightly misleading, sorry). Their lives are also greatly impacted by a mystical island that somehow changes every person that steps on its shore (also misleading the "island is a large sandbar in the middle of the North sea). Of these five very different individuals, there is only two who are dynamic characters. There are two love story side tales that develop with members of this group, but the main story is the coming-of-age/honoring-the-father of the youngest character.

The story ends with three wishes that echo, but do not copy, the original two. The stage is set for a sequel (the title of which is Smoke and Mirrors). The entire story takes place over the course of fifty years with one 5 year and one 17 year break.

There you have it. This entire story was invented after reading The Book of Sand also check out this Interactive Version. This is the story that gave me the idea and parts are based on it but a lot has changed since the original idea. I may share that sometime if I can find it.

HOMEWORK/HELP ME= if you can think of any names for the characters based on the last post and this one, or actual book titles shoot me your ideas!

I DON"T DO NAMES

I started to write today and stopped after almost a sentence,

Waking up to the sound of someone entering the inner room of his empty house ________ sat up.

I realized that I have no names for this book. I have one chapter written with filler names but it is a chapter in the resolution. No raising acting, the climax has occurred by now. So I just used placer names.

I really really need your help coming up with names. Here are a few descriptions, and a quote from each character any ideas will be cannibalized but credit will be given.

This character is known as the luckiest man in the world, Not going to give it away but theres a twist. He never looses at anything, ever. If this man puts his mind to it then he will succede. Heres a quote from him and a quote to precede the chapter he is introduced in.

"Without confidence people are useless."

"People who drink to drown their sorrow should be told that sorrow knows how to swim."

The older motherly character is known as un-killable. She has survived more events than anyone knows, and continues to be active even though she's in her forties when it starts and late fifties by time the action starts. Again quote from her and then quote introducing her chapter.

"Power comes not form outward motivation, but internal determination."

"A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams."
--John Barrymore

Last is the semi-main character. He is the dynamic character the only one that learns throughout the epic. He is capable of understanding things better than anyone else. He has been given a special discernment and no intro quote for him just something he says.

"Knowing everything about everyone is only impressive if you also know everything about yourself."

Also the first character I defined is the name that goes into the blank. Any ideas or questions would be awesome. Next blog will be a very cose to full description of the main character. It'll be difficult because the twist revolves around him so stay tuned and give my a while...

New Direction: Stealing from an artist.

I just read THIS...

In case you don't have time to read it all here is a brief description. THIS is a blog done by an artist; he is a poet/writer. In this particular post he gives nine pieces of advice to fellow creators. I have decided to start using them all but in particular the first and last.

First he advises us to steal... Kleptomania is a writers bread and butter. I have believed this for a long time, but scared to admit that I am a thief. The truth is there is nothing new, no one is truly inventive, everything is just a recombination of things that have been around for centuries. Don't take my word for it though just read the Bible (there will probably be continuos advocation of this).

What has been will be again,
   what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:9

This is what gives me the right to write! I can create something, if not new, different out of the greatness already out there.

The second part of his advice I took is the reason for the blog change. The only way to get recognition, and readers is to be online. I decided that my incessant ramblings (still visible by searching the archives) were not a very professional way to put my ideas on the World Wide Web. So I cleaned up my blog and will be making it more accessible to outsiders.

I will be posting segments of stories I am working on, and expect some useful comments and criticism from my friends, and hopefully some new readers.

Once again read THIS and if you are a writer I encourage you to get involved with an internet writing forum like ThinkWrite.

Ok, first blog of new style will be out tomorrow...

Life's, Just this Guy we know..... He's not very fun at parties.

First year of college is basically over! but wait explanation point?

Am I happy this year is over? I mean really, This year has been amazing some crazy heights and horrible lows but I don't want it to end do I?

Next year will be so different, several of my friends will be gone all first semester, we won't be freshman, Honors students only have one class together. So things are changing a bit too much for comfort...

But I am ready for this work to be over, I am ecstatic about this school year ending and exited a little about getting away from some people but for the most part I'm not looking forward to the summer break. I the epitome of mixed feelings I wish I could stay on campus with everyone there all summer without any school!

ok here are two great stumbles

Religious Implications in a Bowl of Lucky Charms

This title is not a mistake or a joke. During dinner tonight before we were interrupted by an untimely fire alarm that emptied the student center, way to slow to avoid injury in an actual fire, prompted a discussion on the symbolism of cereal. (tempted to use that as a title) so here is the theory, after I give credit to those who participated. Jacob Dale, Amanda Mawson, and Caroline Harkins.

Lucky Charms carefully and quite appropriately symbolizes the interaction of Christianity and paganism/atheism.

The marshmallow symbols we all sing about and love to eat are very plainly and quite interestingly  ancient pagan Irish symbols. The pot of gold, shooting star, blue moon, ballon, and more recently added the hour glass all coincide by these five symbols of ancient Irish pagan religions. The other "charms" are more obvious a horse shoe, four leaf clover, rainbow all of these are things thought to bring luck or actually empowered by mystical powers.

The rest of the cereal contains Christian symbols. The Icthus (aka Jesus fish),bell, and Cross symbolizing ancient christianity, modern christianity, and the entire point of christianity respectively.

So what are the implications of this?

Well the most popular, easier to swallow, "fun," gospel of atheism and paganism is represented by everyones favorite part of the cereal, Marshmallows. While christianity is symbolized by the better for you, but less tasty, and more numerous, cereal bits. This is an adequate picture of the world today.

Christianity is not easy, its not the cool thing to do. It's the most powerful, because its true. It's seen as overbearing (numerous), But its the best thing out there for you. The absence of belief is the easier route its fun, but only for a season. As emphasized by the short life of Lucky Charms only Marshmallows. This was without question the most unhealthy food ever to have existed, and probably sold more in its first week than McDonalds does in a year.

So there you have it, sunday school lesson courtesy of Lucky Charms!

If you just came for this post check out some of the others below, no I am not above advertising for myself.

Hipsters, and non-conformity

Im anti-hipster there I said it, and I really mean it.

Where does not being main-stream mean all these people get to gather and form a new culture?

I never understood how anyone could call themselves a hipster attempt to avoid anything mainstream, and then start a new counter culture where everyone against mainstream  society can come complain together. They sit around in there super expensive fake worn out, or incredibly cheap previously owned actually worn out clothes that they take very good care not to mess up. They listen to all the same music and insult everyone who's never heard of them because the bands they listen too are heard by too many people, when the bands they listen too are only listend to by the thousands of other people in their counter culture.

But these same people when met with something actually new, something random and unprecedented, they are scared. None of these so called anti-society hipsters can actually understand or accept anything that does not fit into their version of the social norm.

ok wow that was a little more ranting then I expected lol.

Heres what I wanted to say, everyone is posting lyrics to songs that have deep meaning or something so here are the two songs that have been bouncing around in my head for the last few days.

I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you...

Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good

Kriston Chenoweth, Wicked

AND

Leave reality outside and come along for the ride
But just remember
While you're watching us
Do the things that we do
We're watching you

I wanna make friends with the freaks
I wanna throw down with the clowns that I meet
I wanna have a party in the middle of the street
I wanna have a party in the middle of the street
I wanna have a party in the middle of the street
Invite all the carnies and the crazy acrobats
And bearded ladies and the fire-breathers
All the people just like me

Slouching Towards Bethlehem

The title is a line from a post WWI poem titled the Second Coming that we studied in my Western thought class. It refer's to the general Idea that something bad is on the way.

I have recently decided that I agree.

In one of my bible classes we were encouraged to read a book called EPIC. This book emphasizes the interconnectivity of all stories. Every thing we've ever read, watched, listened too, or even written all follow the same basic structure. Why?

Well now im going to synthesize all my clases maybe this college thing is actually making me smarter. In my science class we recently discussed the fact that all order comes from higher order, the symmetry of the universe grows and grows the deeper you look. So i've made this chart of the order in stories.

  1. Medium=TV, Movies, Novels, Books, Magazines, Comics-all built upon the deeper order of...
  2. Genre = Western, Romance, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Crime, Teen Angst-all built upon the deeper order of...
  3. Type=Comedy, Tragedy, Epic-All built upon the deeper order of...
  4. The story model=Intro, Conflict, Rising Action, Climax, Resolution-Where does this order come from?
Well it must come from somewhere there must be some story that all others are based upon. There is. The universe itself has a great story to tell, and it has an intro, evil entered to create a conflict, there has been lots of rising action, and there was a prominent climax, and we are now building towards the resolution. It is at times a comedy, at times a tragedy, and always epic. There are periods where it fits into every genre, and the medium is life itself. This story is the story of reality, It is the tale of God, his son, and how there life's affect humanity.

Now we've come back to the title. The one sure fire thing of every story on every scale is that It gets worse before it gets better.

The rising action builds until everything changes, and the story has a chance for an ending. The only problem with this in everyday life is We dont know when we have reached the climax's of our lives.

The Norse had it right I think, They believed in the end everyone will die including their deities, they thought the world and the universe itself would end. There is one line in all of Norse mythology that denotes hope,  Few can see the glory that lies beyond the fall of Odin. They decided that the only way to live life knowing that its going to get worse is to hope in nothing but the end. Focus on the climax because who can see past it? Look , and expect the worst possible situation and then when you reach it, or avoid it, reality is a million times better by comparison.

So with all that said... Im not really sure what my point is, This has just been bouncing around in my head for the last few days.

punching bags.

Whoever decided that punching bags are a good way to alleviate anger, and help you get over wanting to hit an actual person, is an idiot.

Think about it, What were punching bags invented for? Yeah thats right boxers. They were invented in order to train people how to beat the crap out of other people. So yeah the encourage violence instead of defusing it.

In respect of the above I regret my last full day in town and the punching bag in my families patio. So if I ever say the words "someone stop me im bout to hurt someone" you should!

I was going to come up with something clever but, i didn't

my blog was originally titled mixed messages, metaphors and punching bags but im bored

so heres a stumble a quote and a goodbye its good to be back on campus why must school start tomorrow?

Only in Thailand

Whaaaaaaaat?

ok this is all random as in insanely random so just go with it.

You Know Your in College When...

  1. The first day you get home from break you go to wal-mart and your mom buys you food and clothes
  2. You've called home after midnight and been confused when no one answered
  3. You have been stopped by the police multiple times for the same "crime" (even if it is being in a park after dark)
  4. There has been one entire day when you ate nothing but ramen
  5. You have pulled several successive all nighters
  6. Fun can consist of sitting in a group complaining about homework you should be doing, and talking about TV
Here are some great stumbles that apply

AHH work

can someone say fail

If I had one wish I would wish for one day the
entire world to make sense, and failing that I
would wish that females made sense for one hour

Aren't we all!

Emphasis on 1, 5, 8, & 9

I love this misquoted website, but I thought this was the only one a
majority would get, somewhat sadly I got them all
Ok so I had lots of random other stuff I wanted to put on here but I have forgotten what they were...

also no stupid quotes today there are waaaaaaay to many to choose from. I need some sanity to come my way soon. Because random happenstance's in the last few days has been insanely mind bending. If someone is trying to tell me something I would much rather it be in writing that way I can see it all at once.

Also I want to scream several times daily but for some reason, for the first time in a while I don't know who to scream at so. Im flying a little more blindly than usual. In a sitcom, because my life has been one for a while, this would be the time when a respectable older character, or strangely intuitive younger, comes in and says something profound that makes sense of the show again.

so any profound statements? umm profanity? wouldn't that be the word for profound talking, profanity
hmm why does it mean bad language?

Melancholy songs, and Google Earth

Its difficult to walk across campus listening to Wake Me Up When September Ends, when no one is here. The ghost town of campus is the definition of Melancholy but also strangely peaceful and freeing. When I get to walk across campus singing as loud as I want it is really fun.

But also after you get in said melancholy moods, other songs can change in meaning. Ever heard this?

You took for granted all the times I
Never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head, if
Not for me then you would be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with my
Superhuman might/my
Kryptonite

If not, go listen now! its called Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down

Now that you've heard it, Its a positive song right? well get all slightly sad, or nostalgic, or downright depressed It works all the same. It now sounds like a sad song a someones remembering an event or a person that wont ever be the same again. And that person (if you take might and replace it with my like it sounds) is the only thing that really messes the singer up their only weakness. However the still want to keep them close.

Now for stumbles and such, which coincidentally is the name of the folder I put all these awesome photos in.

These are Google Earth street view pictures

I Think this is outside of lawton or in the Wildlife refuge

I wanna do this
and this
What are the odds of this?
sooo cool
Not Google earth but really funny to me
Stupid Quote

"Feel the rhythm, Feel the rhyme"
This was not stupid but it was a friends Facebook status and I love Cool Runnings, lets watch it the first day everyone gets back.

Touche weather, Touche

Really? ever since I can remember the weather has been the antithesis of my emotional, mental, or actual state of health.

so when I say I love gloomy, rainy, wet, cold, nasty, stormy, frightening weather know that im not joking those are the times I feel good.

I haven't added any stumbles in a long time and rarely do I ever add captions so you're in luck, or maybe you're just as bored as I am even though there is a million productive things you could be doing.

Don't Go to McDonalds after 9:00 on a tuesday night

This is an actual conversation from tonight at work no editing,

Me: Im dead.

...ten minutes of silence, no customers...

Kia: Joel you're really dead when you're dead
Me: Umm... why did that make sense?
Kia: I meant your personality, your personality is dead when you're dead
Me: oh yeah,... Im a zombie

And customers came abut halfway through that twenty minute conversation, yes that lasted twenty minutes and we were both entirely serious and only realized after the fact how drugged out we seemed.

Other great quotes from the night

Me: People need to wear name tags after a certain time of night or they can't get mad at me when I dont know who they are.

Me: I can't wait for this week to be over
Kia: Joel its tuesday
Me: Oh.... crap!

Me to customers (I knew them): If you order anything complicated i'm coming after you, or spitting in you're food.

Me...after they ordered complicated food: Seriously im off in five minutes so you've got a head start.

Also crappy week just saying

Dead Blond Cow, Ignore the title

Until arriving at college I did not understand the power of music.

I was surprised at the far reaching super influencing Indie Crap all my friends listen to but some of it hes merit, some of it can be really good. Music can say things that are difficult to say elsewhere, or any other way.

Um this may or may not be indie crap music, im still not sure which is and isn't, and only slightly sorry to all those who are angered by my repetitive naming all indie music crap.

Still not sure it all isn't

But, I heard this song, or rather listened to the words for the first time today,

When everything seems like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know your alive

And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

Its simply awesome, I really Like this song right now its just very appropriate.

So if you have other music that is socially rejected for its general hipster crappy-ness, Get me to listen to it without me knowing and I might even enjoy it. You will have to disguise it well though.

?

I told you people I would never lie on this blog. But I never said I would tell the whole truth.

So here it is. My brain, is arguing with itself, and its winning, both sides.

From Widdendream to Exuberance

Widdendream is a dead english word that I have decided to single handedly bring back into general circulation.

My plan is simple. Use it on the blog, Facebook, papers, and then every computer I have access to I will add it to the dictionary. You should all help and together we can restart the use of this amazing word.

But first you need to know the definition,

Widdendream
Noun – “A state of mental disturbance or confusion”
So now my blog title makes since right? My life in the last two days specifically yesterday my mind was disturbed and confused but after getting off work and taking a quick two hour walk with one of my favorite peoples, and confiding in one of my other great friends. All of that made my day end up pretty amazing.
Also
Hannah Ketring wanted me to title this blog Suicide, Stealing, and Sex even though it dosen't apply.
Also My subconscience is a jerk It needs to go die in a hole, thats all.
