Dexter, Why have I only now found this show?

Ok only two episodes into the first season but I love this show!

It's so perfectly dark and humorous, and my brother the grad student in psychology with a minor in criminal law says it's very accurate.

so what I wanna know is how did I miss all this when it was on television?

Facebook would not let me post these for some reason?

Can't...Wait...Till...Graduation!

Every time should be Pineapple Time

Everything in this picture is wrong
I love it

These Comics were taken from buttersafe.com
Gotta love Stumble upon!!!

Missing Dog, Amazing Movie, and Freshman 15

My moms dog ran away Christmas night. She is a gray and white two year old German shepherd named Maya pray for her return please!

this is her

But...

later that night after frantic searching. My brothers and I went to see the new installment in the Narnia films The Voyage of The Dawn Treader!

Now this movie does not follow the story of the book totally, in fact it pretty much rewrites the story with the same main events, but in their defense the book cannot be truly converted into a movie. there is not enough action in the story to have a silver screen addition.

This movie kept more of the theological significance that CS Lewis wrote into the book than any of the others; including the salvation picture, and the quote that shows that Aslan is not an allegory for God. CS Lewis wrote him as what God would be like in a different world.

This movie was also amazing for two other reasons.
  1. it made reference to the next movie confirming that they will be at least making one more most likely two (and hopefully three, no one wants to watch The Horse and his Boy)
  2. it was made the way all book to movie adaptations should be made, not as an exact representation of the book but an accompaniment to the story that will make people want to read the book and make previous readers understand more of the subtle references and missing plot points. There has only been one other movie I've seen did this at all and it wasn't as good it was the latest installment of Harry Potter.
And last but not least recently I was wondering why people keep giving me food? do I look like I'm starving? I am loosing weight because of school food but do I really seem anorexic?

Then I realized their trying to make me Fat!

The older generation gained 15 pounds their freshman year and they want us all to suffer too. You will gain the weight but only if you eat all the food they give you RESIST!!!!!

now I have to go take a typing speed test ugh peer pressure :(

Self narration and Holiday movie fails

I have come to realize that there is a fundamental flaw in Christmas movies. Either they are extremely juvenile upbeat and generally unremarkably annoying, or they are downers depressingly sad tragic stories.

Examples...

Now a few of these have redeeming qualities but for the most part they are meaningless and/or depressing.

In the time of year where everyone is incredibly stressed out, people are remembering loved ones, struggling to make ends meet, who decided it would be a good idea to make a depressing or meaningless movie??

This is the kinda stuff I wanna watch when stressed out...

You know comic genius or senseless action that relieves my stress.

ok other part of title.

I might do this just because Im an aspiring author, but every now and then i find myself narrating my life.  like today I had a prolonged text message conversation that I wrote out every response like it was dialogue. I have also found myself playing the correct music for the situation im in like creating a soundtrack for my life. Its strange but kinda fun does anyone else do this?

I at least know that Calvin agrees with me

and I could not find a photo of the comic where he says it but we have the same train of thought...

“I thought my life would seem more interesting with a musical score and a laugh track.”

Way to true! what's wrong with people?

saw this on stumbleupon and it started me thinking...

we al do this way to much.
I do it while texting, skype-ing, even face to face and phone conversations!!
why? i think as people we are all extremely afraid of rejection, but its not only rejection I for one self edit out a lot of insults and hateful degrading comments--yeah who knew I was holding back?

This just struck me as self censoring, and I am really against censorship! Now im not advocating  being a total  jerk for no reason... or am I?

no...not for no reason

so go out there and stand up for something, offend someone today/and make someone blush (in a non-awkward way)

strange mood, movies, and motivation

I'm still a day behind but who's actually reading this?

I woke up yesterday in the strangest mood...
I was apathetic about everything, no real motivation because I really had nothing to do. I had never really felt that way before, I was simply without care.

SIDE NOTE my car may have a broken timing belt, if thats the problem it'll be over a thousand dollars

However my brother rented Salt, and Get him to the Greek from red box and my day got better because I had stuff to critique.

Really liked both movies Get him to Greek was awesome it made me search for some song on itunes. I loved Russel Brand everyone should have a crazy british rockstar friend. The world would just work better!

Salt was good and mysterious, but I new it going in. Instead of being surprised and actually confused or in suspense I spent the entire movie waiting for the sudden reversal. Because it had so many twists and direction changes I was not impressed by the final shocker. I would have preferred them risking someone figure out the ending instead of just trying to confuse me so much I got bored.

OK titled this simply for the alliteration idk if there was any strange motivation?

I really need to start writing too many projects im working on but i'll probably spend the next couple of hours on facebook, imdb and stumbleupon.....

Oh! the lunar eclipse counts?... Then yeah that's all I did

Seriously though that was awesome! my sister was tripping balls cause she was on some crazy pain med's for her back, my brother was complaining about how boring it was, and i was freezing my toes off waiting for the moon to turn red?

This red moon phenomenon is explained scientifically with some mumbo jumbo bout the suns ambient light being filtered out or some tree hugging crap about pollution in earths atmosphere. but i have my own take...

The moon turns red because all the martians are extremely religious. You see the believe during an eclipse is when you're closest to God. Martian eclipses only happen like once every hudred years so most of them visit the moon during its eclipse. The moon itself does not turn red, because your actually seeing billions of martians standing on the moon.

other than the eclipse I spent most of my day on stumble upon here are my favorites of the day:

Welcome Home...Should I have stayed?

Right now I would love to be writing about my great safe speedy trip home, a great game of disc golf with the guys, and an all around great homecoming...

But I can't.

Leaving my brothers house I took the long way home because my GPS was set to avoid toll roads, this was not so bad because I didn't have to pay tolls. When I was about ten minutes away from home, going a bit over the limit--ok more then a bit--because I really needed a restroom, my car decided to shift itself into neutral. No warning lights,no puf of steam, no strange sounds, it just started slowing down. I frantically shifted between every gear trying to knock it into drive but nothing worked, so under coasting power I drove across the two lanes to the shoulder and parked it, turned the engine off, and cranked it... and you guessed it nothing.

After talking to the insurance company the agreed to send a tow truck. This was @ 11:40 at 12:30 I called them back and they said the truck was 10 minutes out, at 12:50 they said 5 mins away, and at 1:15 the trucker called me and said he could see my car. oh and i really had to go by then.

After getting home at almost 2:00, I was greeted by piles of leaves and a rake. after filling several bags of leaves I was rewarded with a trip to the dump!

Nothing says welcome home like a broken car, yard work and a dump visit!

Now im gonna play Call of Duty Black Op's till the lunar eclipse and Skype --btw thank you Jenny for keeping me sane while I waited in bladder agony for the tow truck to come.

FINALLY BLOGGING?!

I have been adamant about not writing one of theses for a while, but as im sitting in my brothers house while him and his wife are watching, and enjoying, eclipse I feel the need to rant.

The first problem I have with this situation is that Billy picked the movie, he at least recognizes the level of that failure. He just cannot stop himself he has become a thirteen-year-old-girl complete with sucking his thumb.

BTW just passed the part in the movie that her dad says she should spend more time with Jacob, and less with the hundred year old abusive blood sucking pedophile who continually freaks her out and stalks her. oh and now he is being crazy possessive idk how this relationship works.
oh and why are the vampire's walking around in sunlight without burning in agony or even sparkling??

sorry I covered other reasons that this story is retarted.

But I am having a great time at my brother and sister in law's house. Playing with my 7 moth old four legged cousin, watching random-albiet some crappy-movies, rocking out to Black-eyed-peas and Ke$ha, eating amazing home cooked meals, skyp*ing with really good friends, and not going to work or school.

This christmas break has started out great. stay tuned for the great adventures of DrAgan and Sir Wrong!!
